You need to PASS your Theory and Hazard Perception Test at the same time, before, you can apply for your Practical Test. You will need a valid Provisional Driving Licence in order to take your Theory Test and you can book your Theory and Hazard Perception Test online. You DO NOT however, need to have passed your Theory & Hazard Perception Test, before taking driving lessons with L2Go. We will, as part of your training, help you prepare for the Theory and Hazard Perception Tests and you will have free access to Theory Test Pro, a fantastic online service which enables you to take mock tests in order to prepare for the real thing.
How the THEORY TEST works:
The pass mark for the theory test is 86%. To pass the multiple-choice section, you need to answer 43 out of 50 questions correctly. There will be a time limit of 57 minutes.
How the HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST works:
There are 14 video questions in the hazard perception test. You need to get 44 marks out of the 75 available to pass. If you pass one part of the theory test but fail the other, you will need to retake the entire exam. This is the second part of the theory test, and it is taken almost immediately after the multiple-choice questions.
